Recipes – Breakfast

Baked Oats with Apple

20g steel cut oats

1 tsp baking powder

60ml skimmed milk

1 egg white

3 tbspn apple sauce

1/2 tspn cinamon

2 tsp chopped pecans

125g apple, chopped

1 tsp honey

Spray a ramekin with oil, mix the first 5 ingredients and 1/4 tsp cinnamon and bake for 6 minutes at 180 degrees C, then top with the rest of the ingredients. (steel cut oats have 4 times more fibre of regular oats.  Fibre rich foods last longer in the stomach TOTAL 320 CALS

Recipes Lunch

Chicken Goats cheese and beetroot salad TOTAL CALS 420

260g baby spinach

140g chopped beetroot

1 tbsp dried cranberries

15g walnuts

85g grilled chicken breast

30g goats cheese

1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar (vinegars acetic acid helps suppress your body fat accumulation and aids weight loss

Recipes Dinner TOTAL CALS 350

Scallops with Lemon and sage

85g scallops

2 tsp rapeseed oil

2 tsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp ground sage

240g cubed roasted squash

140g kale sautéed in 2tsp oil

Cook the scallops in oil for 2 mins on each side, drizzle with the juice and sage then serve with the squash and kale
