working outHow dedicated are you when you are working out at the gym, you have your typical stereotypes such as the body builders sitting at the benches, the regular fitness fanatics who are there three and four times a week, all definitely hoping to change the look and the shape of their body and along side them your beginners all trying to figure out what to do and in what order.

Working Out – Relationship

On the face of it if you have a look at your training it is a relationship that we all have when we are in the gym, it gives back to you only what you put into it, no more, no less.

Your workout wont leave you unless you leave it, it will only treat you badly if you treat it badly. It can be a great source of confidence building and it will steer you towards a better self image of yourself.

Working Out – Relationship progression

The more you you put into your workout the more your body and self image progresses which is just like a relationship because the more you put into it the more you get back.

In this sense you have a very real relationship with working out and by treating it with respect you get respect back. In other words by following a well designed program, doing each set and rep with good technique and working to an honest level of intensity. If your lazy in the gym sloppy with your form and spend your time randomly jumping from each piece of equipment you’ll end up with little respect for the process of working out and what it can do for you.
